We recently spoke with Ericka Harris-Thomas a Servant, Wife, Ordained Minister, Certified Faith-Based Therapist, Published Author, Certified Master Coach, and Founder of Restored to Reign International Ministries, “A ministry of healing and restoration” Beyond the Four walls. She is also the CEO of ReInverse Coaching. Ericka has a heart for healing and restoration, and she carries a burden for women, children, and the Body of Christ at large. Her honesty, transparency, and her ability to walk in places in the Spirit realm puts a demand on deliverance for those bound by real-life issues, addictions, and abuse.
Ericka has walked through some hard places, and it is only through the grace of God that she is here today to share her journey. Ericka has embraced the love of the Father and understands that it was by God mighty redemptive and healing power that delivered and restored her life from death, sickness, depression, alcoholism, mental illness, sexual addictions, generation curses, and abuse (sexual, physical, mental, emotional, and verbal).
Ericka’s journey inspired her to write Keys to Transforming Your Hidden Treasures, a map and personal guide that provides practical and spiritual keys to assist readers on the journey of transforming their pain and hidden treasures into purpose. Ericka shares that the keys and principles in the book will challenge, provoke, and lead people to deal and heal at a deeper level. “Keys in the Old and New Testament represent power and authority. God wants to be healed at a cellular level.”

We all walk through different seasons of our lives , and they show up according to cycles, patterns, and themes.
Every day we have two people we wrestle with, depending on who we feed that day. When we start to question our purpose, sense of self, and place in this world, we are more than likely dealing with an identity crisis (a period of uncertainty and confusion in which a person’s sense of identity becomes insecure, typically due to a change in their expected aims or role in society.)
Curiosity is a gift, and the questions you ask will create a greater capacity to receive. You will start to receive strategic downloads and be reminded of who you are and where you are at in your life. It can also mean you are tired of the status quo, and you are ready for more. Or it could be that God is calling you into the next phase on your journey or He is calling you back to Himself.
Below is our conversation with Ericka about her book and why she feels it is essential in today’s world.
Your personal journey of healing and restoration inspired you to write Keys to Transforming Your Hidden Treasures and create the gratitude prayer journal. Was there anything else?
Mental health and emotional balance are major keys in my personal journey since losing my daughter to suicide at the age of 19. I believe that with the times we are in we should practice love, compassion, and gratitude which leads us to be open to meet people where they are at. Just because someone does not look or think like you people want to know they matter.
Being in ministry and the marketplace for over 20 years plus, I realized there are some things that can’t be dealt with at the altar. There are some things, situations, and circumstances that we all must face and deal with and this book will take you there on a deep inner-healing journey, things will come up that you buried so deep because of the pain or trauma.
Why do you feel this book is essential, especially now?
I feel that this book is essential for such a time as this because I see so many people powerless, going through an identity crisis, leading and bleeding, medicating, suppressing, and masquerading their pain and trauma when the bible says in John 8:36, “So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.” It’s time to deal with the deep-rooted issues from childhood that are showing up in adulthood. It’s time to heal at a cellular level. As we all know, free people, free people, and hurt people, hurt people.
Who are the readers you’ve written this book for, and what will they be able to take away from reading it?
I wrote this book for those who are ready and courageous enough to deal with the shadows, deep seated pain, trauma, loss and etc. This book is for the person who may be tired, frustrated, angry, lost but something deep on the inside of you knows that God has more in store you. If this is you get ready to go deeper within and trust the process to heal at a cellular level. You need to know that healing is a journey, and that the destination is YOU!
