The presence of Dr. Coylette James is unmistakable. When she enters a room, virtually or in person, there is power, not personality, presence, not performance. “I’m navigating a brand new normal right now,” she shares, reflecting on a recent season of personal transition. “It’s been challenging, but in the midst of it, God’s greatness has been evident. He has strengthened me and kept me focused on what He’s called me to do.”
This is more than recovery. It’s realignment. Dr. Coylette is moving forward, not despite the pain, but because purpose is still calling.
It was this conviction that birthed Kingdom Influencer Life, a platform she has stewarded for nearly two decades. “The mission is to help others unveil the brilliance of who they are, who they were uniquely created to be,” she explains. “The vision is to see people walk in their God given ability to shine His light.”
To support that mission, Dr. Coylette created the Brilliance Accelerator, an eight week virtual program designed to guide women in discovering their God given brilliance. “It’s once a week for eight weeks,” she says. “When you tap into your Holy Spirit, things change. You become unstoppable, invincible, the person God has called you to be. That’s your brilliance, your light, your uniqueness. When you connect with Him, wisdom, strategy, and God centered confidence flow naturally.”
Her approach is simple but transformative: embrace your God given uniqueness and let it be your superpower. “I’m not one of the hip kids, and I don’t fit in with everybody else, but that’s my superpower. Each of us was uniquely crafted for the work God has called us to do.”
Dr. Coylette’s vision of ministry extends beyond traditional spaces. “Your power isn’t just for Sundays. Wherever God has placed you, that’s where your influence needs to be enacted.” Even women without a pulpit are called to lead, mentor, and impact lives.
Faith has been the foundation of everything she has built. “When I accepted the call to ministry, I told God I didn’t want to depend on people to make it happen. He had to do it. And He did. Provision came, wisdom flowed, and the vision grew.”
Stories of transformation fuel her mission. One retreat attendee arrived timid and insecure. By the end of four days, she was preaching with confidence, fully stepping into her God given authority. “It was incredible to see what God was able to do,” Dr. Coylette shares.
Her influence stretches internationally. “I just went to Spain. Every woman brought her brilliance, yet we came not to compete but to collaborate, uplift, and ignite one another. Together, we didn’t just experience change, we established it.”
Legacy drives her work. “I want my legacy to be generational. Young women need to understand their worth. You are not someone’s eye candy or a toy, your value is far greater than rubies.”
