For the Woman Who’s Everybody’s Plug, But No One’s Priority

You’re always the one people count on—but who checks on you?

You’re the one everybody calls when they need something—connections, advice, help, a door opened. You’re the go-to, the solid one, the woman who somehow always finds a way.

And most days? You don’t mind.

But every now and then, when the messages come in back-to-back with requests and not a single “Hey, how are you really doing?”—you feel it.

The weight.
The silence.
The loneliness of being everything for everyone… but nothing to anyone when your cup runs low.

You’re not bitter. You’re not angry.
But you are tired.
Tired of being called resourceful but rarely called rested.
Tired of being poured out but not poured into.
Tired of being seen for what you give, not who you are.

And Purpose Woman if no one’s said it lately—you matter outside of what you do for people.

Just Because They Need You Doesn’t Mean They See You

People love what you carry. They respect your strength, admire your hustle, and lean on your wisdom. But sometimes, they forget that even the strongest women have soft places. Places that need care. Prayer. Presence. Protection.

You shouldn’t have to burn out to be noticed.
You shouldn’t have to crash to be cared for.

And yet, so many purpose-driven women suffer in silence—thinking that needing help makes them weak. It doesn’t.

Being strong all the time is exhausting.
And God never asked you to carry that kind of weight alone.

Here’s What You Need to Know, Right Now:

  • You are allowed to protect your peace—even if that means saying “not this time.”
  • You are allowed to need people, even if you’re usually the strong one.
  • You are still called, even when you feel unseen.

Your capacity to serve is beautiful.
But your humanity is holy too.

Ways to Take Care of You While Still Walking in Purpose

1. Ask yourself: “Am I giving from overflow or obligation?”
God never designed you to run on empty. Let the Holy Spirit fill you first.

2. Check your circle.
You need more than people who need you. You need people who see you. Who pour back. Who ask how you are. Build that kind of community.

3. Let yourself rest without guilt.
Rest is not weakness. It’s wisdom. It’s worship. It’s warfare against the burnout that threatens your peace.

A Prayer for the Woman Who Feels Used but Still Shows Up

God, I lift up the woman who feels like she’s everyone’s source but no one’s sanctuary.
The one who gives without question, shows up without fail, and still cries in silence when no one’s looking.

Let her know today that You see her.
Not just her strength, but her soul.
Not just her giving, but her need.
Not just her title, but her tiredness.

Send her reminders that she is not forgotten.
Wrap her in Your peace.
Surround her with people who love her beyond her gift.

And whisper this truth into her heart:
“You are My daughter, not My employee.
Your rest matters. Your heart matters. You matter.”

Amen.
