Dr. Verna Caddie Continues to Inspire and Empower Young Ladies Globally
Dr. Verna Caddie is the Founder of Casting Your Cares, Devine Creations, Devine Prom Project, L.E.C.B.U, and many other empowering programs for young ladies, mothers, and sons. She is a certified etiquette professional, girls life coach, motivational speaker, evangelist, mentor, and best-selling author of several etiquette books for teens and adults.
The mother of three is passionate about helping others achieve their goals by letting them know that they can do all things through Christ Jesus. As a leader in the community, Dr. Verna wants to be the change that she wants to see in life. “I want to be able to leave a legacy that my children can be proud of. My journey as a mom was always to show my children that life is not just about us being here. We have to make an impact in others’ lives as well.”
Dr. Verna realized her calling to empower the lives of others when she started training young ladies. “As an expert etiquette coach, debutante coach, and best-selling author, I saw that young ladies’ lives were changing through the training I provided, and this is when I knew my purpose.” Dr. Verna’s nonprofit Devine Creations has worked well with over 1000 and more young ladies across the greater Houston and surrounding area. “Devine Creations” mission is to empower young women through etiquette while creating beauty inside and out. Devine Creations is an 8-month program, and every young lady must attend workshops to be presented to society. The program provides mentoring and education to help young women succeed.
In 2009, Dr. Verna created “The Etiquette Professionals Network”, which helps women and men become certified as etiquette professionals, wedding etiquette instructors, tea consultants, girls mentoring coaches, boys mentoring coaches, and image consultants. Also, to ensure young girls worldwide have the tools needed to succeed, Coach Verna authored several etiquette books sold through Amazon and Barnes and Noble bookstores.
In 2013, Dr. Verna received a certificate from “State Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee for her nonprofit” Devine Creations”. She also received her very own day in Houston, Texas, from Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker, for her community service efforts in providing free gowns to area high school seniors who cannot purchase prom gowns. In addition, she offered workshops in prom etiquette and prom safety for young ladies. In 2014
Dr. Verna Caddie received The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barak Obama for all of her work in and around her community, Dr. Caddie, received yet another Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden.
During the pandemic, Dr. Verna Caddie started her online Bible College, which has now become the fastest-growing college in the country, by offering degrees from her “Accreditated Bible College”.
Dr. Verna’s passion for helping others inspires her to keep going during challenging times. “No matter what comes and no matter what goes, I always remember why I started,” she says. Dr. Verna encourages readers with these words, “Encourage someone to continue to find their passion, help others grow, and continue to love because Love never fails.
