On a beautiful Friday afternoon, I had the pleasure of speaking with the extraordinary Dr. Nikkie Pryce. She is a remarkable woman of faith and inspiration whose journey towards becoming a catalyst for change is impressive. Her story is one of resilience, faith, and unwavering determination to serve God’s purpose.
Before we commenced the interview, I humbly asked Dr. Pryce if we could begin with prayer, to which she eagerly agreed. Leading the prayer herself, she exemplified the essence of our shared faith and belief that we must acknowledge God and seek His guidance in all aspects of our lives, as outlined in Proverbs 3:6- In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Listening intently to Dr. Pryce’s words, I was immediately captivated by her genuine nature, warmth, and unwavering passion for serving God and uplifting others. Dr. Pryce’s journey towards becoming a force of change began long before she entered ministry. After college, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a journalist but soon realized this wasn’t her calling. “I knew there was something more to my life. As a little girl, I always had a relationship with God, but I didn’t know what He would call me to do.”
Dr. Pryce remained unwavering in her faith despite facing several obstacles and setbacks. She believed that creating change requires a heart for justice and a willingness to stand up for those who are marginalized, left out, lost, and neglected. She drew inspiration from Jesus Christ, who advocated for those who were treated unjustly and encouraged people to stand up for the disenfranchised. She was determined to make a difference in people’s lives and wanted to help them in any way possible.
Today, Dr. Pryce is an influential figure, using her platform and influence to inspire and empower others. She is a prophet who speaks on behalf of God, using her voice and words to bring hope and healing to those around her. She reflects on her college days when God used her voice to encourage and uplift her friends despite her own personal struggles.
“My friends would call me and say, Hey, I need you. And I would go meet them and encourage them. I used to wonder why I was over here encouraging people while I had my own personal struggles to deal with. However, I learned that God was using me to help others, and He would take care of my personal situation.”
Through her work as a transformational life coach, Dr. Pryce helps others transform their lives and achieve their full potential. She said, “I never wanted people to come into my presence and leave the same. I always wanted them to have some kind of experience by being with me or around me, and so, that looks like, if you come around me, You gotta know your life is going to transform if you allow it, if you’re open, if you want it.”
Dr. Pryce’s journey toward becoming a force of change is a testament to the power of faith and unwavering determination. She inspires many by showing that with God’s help, anything is possible. She said, “God placed that desire inside of me. Psalms 37:4 says, Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. When you delight yourself in the Lord, I believe He will give you the desires of your heart.”

You have to care more about the lives of people.”
