We recently spoke with Dr. Kimberly V. McWilliams, the Overseer of KVM Global Ministries and founder of A Woman Who Knows Her Worth Network. She travels the nation ministering hope through the Word of God. She has a personal, empowering message that speaks to the hearts of women; to bring them into a place of living a healed and prosperous life. Dr. Kimberly has been the voice of radio and television. Living A Restored Life: Proof There Is An After This is based on Dr. Kimberly’s personal life story. The book includes biblical principles, life lessons, and teaching moments to impact someone’s life positively.
What inspired you to write your book?
Honestly, I was led by the Lord to write my book. I had never considered myself an author, but I love encouraging people. I love speaking life and hope into people’s lives, ministries, and situations. I want them to know that what they see as the end is the beginning for God. It’s the beginning of Him turning things in their favor. After you suffer, God will bring you into a place of great success. A place of victory. A place of abundance. I lived it and wanted to speak the same to the world.
Why do you feel this book is essential, especially now?
Our world needs hope. I don’t mean just this side of town or just this demographic. No, we all need hope. So much death and so many people being careless in their decisions. People are sick, depressed, closed off, and I could go on. This is a book that I can proudly say ministers to all of that. It’s not just another thing to read. It’s something that comes to restore what you’ve become detached from. Be it hope, trust, or faith, whatever you need to receive. You’ll receive it from this book. I put myself in the reader’s place in this book because I’ve been in their place. So it’s not words of fluff on a page. It’s words from a woman’s heart that went into the fire and came out not burnt nor smelling like smoke.
Is there anything else you want to share?
Remember, we need each other. It’s not about personality anymore. It never was. It’s about purpose. God has a purpose attached to your life, and to see the fullness of it, you will need those He assigns. We can’t be so prideful or so unforgiving that we miss that.
