Do You Truly Know The Times We Are Living In?

There’s a sense that we are in the last days, the days when prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. The signs are clear: global crises, pandemics, racial and cultural upheaval, economic turmoil, and a deepening spiritual darkness. But with every sign, God is calling His daughters to arise, to be still and know that He is God in the midst of it all.
“…the sons of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…”
— 1 Chronicles 12:32
We are living in times that demand spiritual discernment. Can you see through the chaos? Can you hear the still, small voice of God urging you to rise up in faith and be a beacon of light? These are the times that require not only action but deep spiritual awareness. God is calling His daughters to be vigilant in prayer, steadfast in faith, and deeply rooted in His Word.
THE VIRUS OF FEAR AND THE DISEASE OF COMPLACENCY
The lingering effects of COVID-19 and other emerging health concerns remind us that the world is frail, and our bodies are but dust. But we must remember, even in times of sickness and disease, that God is our Healer, our Protector, and our Comforter.
“For I am the Lord, who heals you.”
— Exodus 15:26
Fear has been a spiritual virus that has gripped many hearts, but God’s Word casts out fear. It is time for us, as women of faith, to step into boldness. We are not called to live in fear but to trust that God’s protection covers us as we move in obedience.
Your Response:
- Stand firm on God’s promises of healing and protection.
- Ask God to strengthen your faith, that fear would have no place in your heart.
- Be still in His presence, for He is Jehovah-Rapha, our Healer.
ECONOMIC STORM: A CALL TO GODLY STEWARDSHIP
In uncertain times, the Lord asks us to manage our resources with faithful stewardship. Whether facing rising inflation, job insecurity, or the stress of financial uncertainty, God has not left us alone. Our Father is Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. His promises never fail, and His provision is abundant even in the wilderness.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 4:19
Your Response:
- Trust in God’s provision, even when circumstances seem dire.
- Pray for wisdom in managing your finances and ask God for guidance.
- Step out in faith and know that He will provide. He is faithful.
EXHAUSTION: THE SPIRITUAL COST OF BURNOUT
In this world of constant demands and expectations, it’s easy to fall into the trap of exhaustion. But God is calling His daughters to rest in Him—spiritually, mentally, and physically. We are not meant to carry the weight of the world. Jesus Himself invited us to lay our burdens at His feet.
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
Your Response:
- Surrender your exhaustion to God in prayer. Ask for His strength.
- Seek true rest, and allow God to restore your soul.
- Trust that in resting, you are aligning with God’s plan for your health and well-being.
THE DIGITAL AGE: NOISE AND DISTRACTION
We live in an age of information overload. The constant buzz of notifications, news cycles, and social media distractions can cloud our spiritual clarity. But God is calling us to focus on what truly matters: His voice, His Word, and His presence. We cannot afford to be distracted when we are called to be watchful and prayerful.
“But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him.”
— Habakkuk 2:20
Your Response:
- Set aside time each day to disconnect from digital noise and connect with God.
- Make space for quietness in your life to hear the Lord’s voice.
- Be intentional about your time and use technology to glorify God.
CULTURAL WARS & KINGDOM JUSTICE
The world is in turmoil, but the Kingdom of God remains unshaken. As Christian women, we are called to stand for righteousness, to speak out against injustice, and to fight for mercy and truth. This is not a political call; it’s a biblical mandate.
“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.”
— Isaiah 1:17
God is calling us to move beyond cultural movements and become agents of divine justice, rooted in His Word. Righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne, and He is calling His daughters to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.
Your Response:
- Engage in prayer for justice, mercy, and peace.
- Use your voice to speak out against oppression, but do so with humility and love.
- Reflect Christ in your actions and serve those in need.
THE ROLE OF FAMILY & COMMUNITY: A SOURCE OF STRENGTH
In these times, family and community are more important than ever. God designed us to be in relationship—not only with Him but with one another. We are the Body of Christ, and we must strengthen one another in faith. It is in community that we find support, accountability, and strength to endure and thrive in these turbulent times.
“For where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them.”
— Matthew 18:20
Your Response:
- Strengthen your family through prayer and intentional connection.
- Join or create a community that supports and prays with you.
- Invest in relationships that bring you closer to God and one another.
The Call to Rise
As we continue to witness the unfolding of these times, remember that the battle is the Lord’s. The responsibility is ours to rise in faith, walk in obedience, and stand firm in the spiritual authority we have in Christ.
THE RETURN OF CHRIST: A CALL TO HOLINESS AND URGENCY
The return of Jesus is imminent. While the world is preoccupied with temporary matters, we, as His chosen daughters, must live in constant readiness. This is a holy calling—a call to live with eternal perspective, knowing that our actions on earth matter in the light of eternity.
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”
— Matthew 24:42
Your Response:
- Live in a state of holy anticipation for Christ’s return.
- Pursue righteousness and purity in your thoughts, words, and actions.
- Share the Good News of Christ’s love with urgency.
SPIRITUAL DECEPTION: A WARNING TO STAY ROOTED IN TRUTH
False teachings are a growing threat, and they are crafty in their presentation. But we have God’s Word as our ultimate guide—His truth is unchanging and unshakable.
“For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine…”
— 2 Timothy 4:3
Your Response:
- Test everything by the Word of God.
- Stay rooted in sound doctrine and the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Be vigilant, discerning, and prayerful about what you allow into your spirit.
THE POWER OF INTERCESSION: YOUR PRAYERS MOVE MOUNTAINS
Intercession is the heartbeat of every revival. Women of God, we are called to stand in the gap for our families, communities, and the nations. Our prayers are not in vain—they are powerful and effective.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
— James 5:16
Your Response:
- Pray without ceasing—your prayers have power.
- Join or form a prayer group, and call upon God’s power to move mountains.
- Be led by the Holy Spirit in your intercession, and trust that God is working.
REVIVAL: THE ANOINTING OF GOD’S WOMEN FOR THIS TIME
God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh, but especially on His daughters. Revival is here, and it begins with us. It’s time for Christian women to arise in power and to fulfill the call of God upon our lives in this hour.
“You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
— Isaiah 58:11
Your Response:
- Seek renewal in the Holy Spirit.
- Live out the revival God is sending—let it start in your heart.
- Prophesy, pray, and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Women of God, this is your time. The world is waiting for you to stand firm in faith, to walk in boldness, and to rise to your calling. Together, let us prepare, pray, and be the women of God He has called us to be in this season.
