Claudia Gouveia, Co-Founder and CEO of Entelechy Global Publishing

Claudia Gouveia is the co-founder and CEO of Entelechy Global Publishing, a publishing company focused on inspirational and fun-loving children’s and educational adult books. After writing her first children’s 17 book series, she quickly realized interested publishers wanted to take over creative control. Feeling uneasy with this idea, Claudia turned to God for direction. “It was clear, as I felt it in my soul – I had a new path to create and lead.” So it was fitting to name her new company, Entelechy, which means ‘the soul.’

“As a startup, everything I do is extremely detail-oriented. I rely on God in every situation. I often refer to John 1:1-5 for inspiration and strength.”

Claudia feels called to bring parents and children together through stories in her new role as a children’s book author. She strongly believes story time can be utilized to strengthen relationships and family time and introduce new topics and discussions with children.

Running a publishing company is new territory for Claudia, one she has welcomed with an open heart and an open mind. “Currently, we have two new authors signed with release dates set for Spring 2023, and I am grateful I can give these new authors the guidance, assistance, and connections to make their goals a reality.”

Today’s marketplace has opened up to women entrepreneurs and visionaries. But as Claudia puts it, God has to be at the center of every conversation for the right doors to open and connections to be made.

Claudia is married to an entrepreneur, author, and investor, Luis Gouveia. Together they have co-founded six companies and currently reside in New Jersey.
