Dear God, I come to you as humble as I possibly know how to say THANK YOU! Thank you, God, for waking me this morning in sound mind, heart, and spirit. God, I know that I am nothing without you, and my steps are ordered by you and only you, oh God! God, I command and give this day to you. Let your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Let your will be done in all that I say and do. Let all I come across see all of you and less of me. I thank you for that victory now, God! I ask you to grant me grace and favor in my business on each call, appointment, meeting, deal, closing, and earning that this day may bring. God, I thank you for those victories of today, now. Below is our conversation with Casey about her book and why she feels it is essential in today’s world.
Please briefly tell us a little more about yourself.
I grew up in a Christian household where God was always at the center of everything we did. Throughout my life, I have experienced a lot of ups and downs. Some of the downs were life-changing, and I knew God was how I got through them all. I owe it all to him. My faith has been so strong lately from all of the craziness in the world. God has shown himself so many times through my home, relationships, jobs, and business. All I know is that without him, I am nothing and my business, either. I pray that people see less of me and all of him every day. My faith in him is unshakeable.
What inspired you to write It’s Your Time?
My inspiration came from my late mother and role model, Jeanette who was a business owner. I learned so much from her about owning your own business, acquiring contracts, networking, and pricing your product and services. And most of all, she taught me about having faith and believing in God for all things!
Why do you feel this book is essential, especially now?
I feel my book is extremely essential because motivation is important with all the happenings in the world today. It keeps you going regardless of what stage of your business or even life you’re in. Motivational reading helps turns negatives and unsureness into positives!
