Bold Vision: Dr. LaTanya Moore
As I sit on a conference call this Wednesday afternoon, I eagerly anticipate a conversation with Dr. LaTanya Moore. She is a renowned coach, consultant, and speaker whose life’s work is deeply rooted in her unshakable faith. Dr. LaTanya embodies the power of purpose and divine calling, and I am excited to speak with her. As I wait for her to join the call, the background music is playing, suddenly interrupted by a chime announcing her arrival. Her radiant voice fills the line, “Dr. LaTanya Moore, she says.” Both of us are equally excited to speak to each other.
Dr. Moore sees herself as a catalyst for change. Her mission is to step into community spaces, advocate, and help people live out the purpose God has placed in their lives. One thing that motivates Dr. Moore to be a force of change is that God has already revealed the task assigned to her. “When I look at my life, my assignment from God is clear,” she explains, her voice ringing with conviction, “I’ve been placed on earth to help people discover the keys to unlock their next level and step fully into their purpose.”
Under the umbrella of Dr. Moore Enterprises, she spearheads transformative speaking engagements and operates as a ‘level up’ coach. “Wherever you are right now, once we work together, you will no longer be on that level. You will be higher,” she confidently declares.
She also runs Spirituali-T. E.A. (Topics, Experiences, Applications), which aids individuals in making faith moves necessary for spiritual growth. Not stopping there, she’s also founded the Red Suit Foundation, a nonprofit aimed at helping individuals step on stage with unwavering faith.
Dr. Moore’s journey toward this dynamic, faith-driven life started with a significant turning point. She describes a period in her life where she was “religious and ratchet,” attending church but not practicing what she was taught. After a wild 30th birthday party, she realized the avid need to get closer to God. This realization led her to a season of growth and a radical season where she dedicated herself entirely to God.
When asked what motivates her to keep going, even when it’s hard, she says, “Each and every day, I seek God for instructions. I feel like there are people who are depending on me to show up. When I don’t show up, I think about the clarity, strategy, or confidence that someone might be missing that day.”
Her faith is her fuel, and she believes it can unlock change in her own life and the lives of others. “My faith seems to unlock other people’s faith and movement. When I obey God and step out in faith, it unlocks other people’s promises and helps them step into what God has called them to do.”
Dr. Moore specializes in working with three types of visionaries, helping them navigate through different stages of growth and transformation. These include Builders who are currently creating and constructing but feeling stuck, Architects who are ready to launch their next project but require a blueprint, and Developers who are transitioning between building phases and seeking to evolve personally and professionally.
Dr. Moore advises women aspiring to become change agents first to understand their identity in Christ. She believes that before becoming a change-maker for others, knowing what one has been called to change is imperative. And one can find that in their identity in Christ.
Looking ahead, Dr. Moore aspires to expand her mission globally, creating a worldwide platform for her message. She also hopes to build a team of like-minded individuals who believe in and are willing to carry the mission and vision that God has given her.
Dr. Moore wrapped up our conversation with a powerful message for all change-makers: “God has chosen you for such a time as this. He will bring the people and resources that will help you move forward. Remember, God will take the work you are doing in private and bring it to the public eye when you are glorifying His name.”
