Lola Tomorrow on Rest, Obedience, and Empowering Faith-Fueled Millionaires

Lola Tomorrow

It’s just past noon CST in Chicago, where Lola Tomorrow is located, and after 1 PM EST in South Carolina, where I sit with the sun pouring in at 80 degrees. I dial in. The line rings—and then, “Hello?” Lola answers from her home office. While it feels like summer on my end, she laughs and shares that it’s still in the 50s in her part of Chicago. Which for Lola is like summer.

Her voice is calm, but even through the phone, Lola Tomorrow carries weight. Not the weight of ego—but of calling.

Lola Tomorrow is rewriting generational wealth and single-handedly creating the new class of faith-driven millionaires. As a global connector, high-profile event strategist, impact philanthropist, and the business mastermind behind the premier Faith Figures mentorship program, Lola’s influence stretches far beyond typical business circles. Her genius has taken her from the White House to Grammy stages and everywhere in between.

We greet each other and ease into conversation, but Lola doesn’t do small talk for long. She speaks the way she leads: with intention. There’s a stillness in her voice, like someone who’s learned to trust the timing of God, even when the world around her moves fast. “I was traveling so much last year,” she shares. “I had so many events, I literally had to shut everything down. I canceled my conference—I canceled everything.” That decision was bigger than scheduling. It was spiritual.“God was showing me that I had been pouring out so much,” she says.“ But I wasn’t making space to rest. Real rest. And that’s what I needed.”

It wasn’t burnout—it was a divine interruption. A recalibration.

Lola speaks of rest like it’s a spiritual discipline—because, for her, it is.“The enemy wants us so busy, always moving, always performing. But if you don’t rest, you can’t hear clearly.”

For a woman whose calendar once read like a strategy map—White House assignments, celebrity clients, packed-out summits—learning to pause wasn’t easy. But she obeyed. And in that stillness, God began to show her the next move.

“I used to think it had to look big to be impactful,” she says. “But now I understand—impact isn’t always about the crowd. Sometimes the assignment is one person. One room. One moment.”

Lola never set out to become “Lola Tomorrow.” She was just a woman who said yes. Yes to God. Yes to the vision. Yes to the uncomfortable. And her yes led her into some of the most influential circles in the world. Her network speaks for itself—Lola has collaborated with top industry leaders, celebrity clients, and global organizations. But she’s never compromised her faith for access. ‘There were so many events,’ she admits, pulling back the curtain. “I low-key be around that piece with my oil, praying. Praying in the Spirit before people even come in the room. Praying against any demonic attack.”

It’s not performative. It’s warfare. “I can’t be out here planning events, bringing people together, and not be covering the room spiritually. We can’t be so focused on the brand that we forget the assignment.” She says it like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Because for Lola, it is.

“I don’t move unless God is in it,” she says. “I don’t go in no room trying to be seen. I’m discerning. If God didn’t send me, I’m not staying.”

This clarity didn’t come overnight. It came through time, trials, and a track record with God. From political rooms to marketplace stages, Lola has always walked in with more than a strategy. She walks in with the Holy Spirit. “People feel like you can’t be saved and be in certain spaces,” she says. “But they need us. God needs His people in those places. And we need to come in with authority.”

Even now, as she reflects on where God has her, it’s not about platform—it’s about posture. “I have to stay prayed up. Because the attacks don’t stop,” she says. “The enemy will try to distract you with success. But when you’re really walking with God, you learn how to rest and war at the same time.”

Her tone shifts when we talk about influence. “I don’t want people to think I’m just out here making moves,” she says. “I want them to know—I’m being led. I’m not just building a brand. I’m walking out an assignment.” For a moment, we both pause. The line is quiet, but the atmosphere is not. “I had to learn that I can’t be everywhere. I don’t have to prove anything. When God sends you, He sustains you.”

She talks about being misunderstood, about people assuming her success meant she was always “on.” But Lola knows better. She’s seen what happens when you build without God. “I used to think I had to show up for everyone,” she says. “Now, I only show up where I’m graced.” There’s a wisdom in that—an anointing rooted not in performance, but in presence.

Lola’s mission has always been to empower women, but her vision has only grown stronger with time. Her heart beats for the next generation of believers to understand that money and resources are not the enemy—they are tools to be used for God’s purpose. “I want the next generation to see that wealth is not evil,” she says. “Imagine what could happen if 500 believers who were multimillionaires came together and decided to build our own systems—our own hospitals, schools, and media platforms. The world would change.”

For Lola, it’s not about accumulating wealth for personal gain—it’s about creating a ripple effect of impact for the Kingdom. “We are called to be distribution centers for God’s resources,” she explains, her voice passionate and resolute. “When we shift our perspective on money, we can change the narrative of what it means to be a Christian entrepreneur.”

Through her Faith Figures mentorship program, Lola empowers businesswomen across industries, helping them generate over $75 million in revenue collectively each year. She’s seen firsthand the power of a mindset shift when women understand their value and purpose—not just in business, but in building the Kingdom.

As our conversation winds down, I ask what’s next. She doesn’t list a roster of events or upcoming launches. Instead, she speaks like a woman who’s been in the secret place. “I just want to obey. That’s it. If I do what He asked me to do, then I’ve succeeded.”

And maybe that’s what makes Lola Tomorrow different.

She doesn’t chase the spotlight. She carries strategy from Heaven. She doesn’t force open doors—she prays through them. And when she shows up, she brings more than excellence. She brings the oil.

Even though Lola has achieved so much already, she is still becoming. She’s still growing, still evolving into the woman God has called her to be. It’s this faith, combined with her relentless pursuit of purpose, that makes Lola Tomorrow a force to be reckoned with.

She’s not just building a legacy; she’s laying the foundation for a movement—a movement of women who understand their worth, their purpose, and their assignment in God’s Kingdom.
